Nikos Pitsilos was born and raised in Piraeus but soon became a citizen of Sweden and pursued studies at the School of Architecture. During his time at the university, he discovered his passion for photography, which would become his primary focus.
His career began in America as a photographer's assistant, but he soon divided his time between Greece and Sweden. Concurrently, he established an advertising and marketing company, directing fashion photography campaigns and advertisements. While his early photographic endeavors were centered around the fashion industry, he transitioned away from it in 2013.
Over the years, his camera lens has captured candid moments of people in their everyday lives and landscapes, both with and without human presence. Each click of the camera serves as a fleeting tableau, infused with emotions and his personal perspective—an expression of his concerns and observations.
In his leisure time, he immerses himself in poetry, writing, and painting.
